ARM TV frequently asked questions

1. I love the new flash ARM TV but my videos are playing choppy and stopping every few seconds.

A. You’ll figure out the timing but push pause twenty seconds let the download get ahead of the player marker. This is a different format then the other player. The other player downloaded only what you needed to watch the video. This one downloads the complete clip to your browser so you can have more options when it comes to playback.

You can also double check to make sure you have the latest version of flash by going here. This might increase the performance of your player.

2. The videos are not playing.

A. Prior to August 2006 ARM TV, you must have Real Player installed. Only the free version is necessary. Remember after you download the player, it still has to be installed and registered before it will work.

2. The videos are still not playing or they are playing but take forever to download or start playing and then buffer but never start playing again.

A. If you have become a member after August 2006 then all of the videos are available for download as well. In the playlist you will find an upside down arrow. This is to download the clip. You will have to install an FLV player on your computer to be able to view the files.  FLV player

All videos before Aug 2006 you will not be able to watch until we swith over to Flash. Unfortunately you are suffering from a severe case of SLOWCONNECTIS, otherwise known as a slow internet connection speed or dial up modem. There is nothing ARM TV can do for you to solve this problem. We understand that many of the smaller countries are not capable of HIGH SPEED yet. We apologize for this inconvenience. This is why we made the switch over to Flash and offered the videos for download as well.

It is very important to have the streaming video stay as high quality as possible and still maintain a decent load time for our customers. For this reason we will not be reducing the image quality to have the videos load faster for slower speed connections.

3. What is the password and why is it the same password for everyone?

A. Until ARM TV becomes a subscription based web site, this is how we keep track of the volume of people streaming our video. This is also how we notify you that there has been a new video added to Arm TV.

4. Will you offer the videos for download to the hard drive?

A. After August 2006 the videos will become available for download.
